The Royal Hawaiian Guard (RHG) Collar Badge (CB) or "Laurels" displays the Hawaiian Crown rests above a laurels of kalo (taro) and palapalai fern which encompasses crossed Springfield M1903 rifles guarding over a pulo`ulo`u that all sits over a shield emblazoned with "RHG", at the bottom of the laurels is scroll with the words "Malama Hawai`i MMIX"  is awarded to:
  1. Members of the Guard who successfully complete basic training requirements and have been formally recognized as a member of the RHG.
  2. Individuals recognized for their dedication, service, and or support at the discretion of the Commandant and Board of Directors.
